Syreeta departed this life on February 27, 2016. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Atha Lyles, Johnny Lyles and Sara Henry; uncles, Ray F. Lyles, Johnny F. Lyles, and Charles Mewborn.

Syreeta leaves to cherish her memories husband, Julius L. Jones; daughter, McKenzie A. South; mother, Michelle Lyles; father, Danny Lyles; sisters, Katrina Simoneau, Danetta Lyles, Deanna Hardy, and Tonawanda Holloway; brother, Danny Battle; aunts, Kathryn Cosby (Jeffrey), Sara Cutts, Patricia Chesler, Louise Lyles, Jessica Lyles, and Joan Berry; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The funeral service for Syreeta Nicole Jones will be held 11AM, Saturday, March 5th, 2016 at the Mt Sinai Baptist Church 2036 Silver St. The visitation will be 5 - 7PM, Friday, at the mortuary.
