Tamika Alanda Cox Jackson was born in Virginia Beach, Virginia on February 4, 1976 to Larry and Paula. She confessed Christ at the age of 33 in the Church of Christ, where she was baptized. Tamika attended Green Run and Princess Ann High Schools in Virginia Beach, and she received her education from Saint Leo University as well.

Tamika later met Randy Jackson in Virginia Beach and they were married on February 2nd 1996.

Tamika departed this life on Wednesday, November 13, 2019. She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael (Mike).

Tamika leaves to mourn her passing a dedicated husband, Randy Jackson; 5 amazing children, Paula, Garshamii, Brandy, Maiahliyah, and Yomari who loved her very deeply; grandson, Calogero; mother, Paula and father, Larry Sr.; loving brothers, Vince, Antonio, Terry and Larry; and other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Tamika Alanda Jackson will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, November 16th, 2019 at the Samuel C. Rogers Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N. Main Street Jacksonville, FL 32206. The visitation will be 11 AM - 1PM, Saturday, November 16th, 2019 at the Samuel C. Rogers Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N. Main Street Jacksonville, FL 32206. Interment in Jacksonville National Cemetery.
