Theresa Johnson was born August 18, 1931 to Johnnie Jones and Elizabeth Wright. She attended local Catholic Schools. Theresa met and married Alfred Johnson in Jacksonville, Florida in 1950. From this union three sons and five daughters were born.
Theresa departed this life Wednesday, February 23, 2022. She was preceded in death by her father, Johnnie Johnson; mother, Elizabeth Wright; brother, Matthew Stephens; husband, Alfred Johnson and daughter, Cynthia Macon.
Theresa leaves to cherish memories with her children, Alfred E. Johnson, Maurice M. Johnson, Johnny J. Johnson (Eve), Barbara J. Johnson (Tommie), Joyce Clarno, Margie Johnson and Tracy Johnson; fifteen grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren, twenty great great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
The funeral service for Theresa Johnson will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 4th, 2022 at the Samuel C. Rogers, Jr. Memorial Chapel, 4315 N Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206. The visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 3rd, 2022 at the Funerals by T.S. Warden, 4315 North Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206. Interment is Private.
