Obituary

Thomas Brent “Hawk” Hawkins was born into this world on June 17, 1949 and left it behind at the age of 71 to move onto bigger and better things. Hawk passed on Thursday, October 2, 2020 as a decorated Navy serviceman who served in both the Vietnam War and Desert Storm.

Thomas was known for his humor and stability. He showed kindness and offered a hand to those who needed it. Whether you spoke to him everyday or once every few months, visiting home you knew he had your six if you needed to talk or get away.

Thomas was a great guy. As a father, he was strict as all hell, but he was a softy as well. He taught his daughter, Anita, how to work on cars at a young age. Through his example, he taught her how to fight for family and what she believed in. He believed “Family” is what keeps you going. Thomas was always there when someone needed him. He was always there to help. It did not matter if he knew you or not.

Thomas was unintentionally funny most of the time, but he was always funny, always making someone laugh. He never judged you, but he would give you his opinion on a matter. Regardless, if he agreed with you or not, he would be by your side. He would be there with you. Even now, you can imagine he will always be there for us, shaking his head at us and laughing at us for some of our shenanigans. No matter what he was always there.

Thomas leaves to cherish his memories daughter, Anita Robson (Frank Robson, Jr.); grandchildren, Liddia Robson, Logan Walter, Ashley Long, Alyssa Long, Alexis Long, and Trinity Long; great-grandchild, Christopher Leon; and a host of friends.

Anita, I would love to talk with you! He was my stepfather from the time I was a toddler until I was 16! His location was hidden from me when I tried to find him, to pursue prosecution! Well now he’s gone to face the real true judge! If you want to know everything, I will leave my number with the funeral home!

I’m sorry for anyone who feels a loss. This obituary couldn’t be farther from the truth! He was not a good man, he was a horrible person. And he doesn’t deserve to be honored this way! 🤯

No you don't. I'm sorry. But what you're doing is wrong. You didn't even know him. He was with us for 40 years. You did not know him. And he was divorced. All Ann wanted was his money. You have no right to talk about him like this. Especially here on his memory wall. And if you need to discuss this anymore, feel free to call me. But this is not the place.
