Obituary for Thomas Sinclair Kirce Jr.

Love is patient and is kind. Love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, 5 doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; 6 doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things. 8 Love never fails.
~ 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

Thomas Sinclair Kirce, Jr was born in Jacksonville, Florida on September 23, 1937, to Thomas Sinclair Kirce Sr. and Lillian Kohn Kirce. They lived in the Sweetwater area on Luke Street. Thomas was the eldest of six siblings. To support his family, he left high school to begin working at Skinner’s Dairy. Then, moved on to Florida Steel where he spent 25 years as a metal caster. He was well known as a hard and dedicated worker and friend to all. Between this time, he found and married the love of his life, Barbara Jean Clark, in 1974. They had nearly 50 fantastic years together! He enjoyed his family and friends until he was called to be with LORD.

Thomas left us on Saturday, January 28th 2023.
