Tonya Venetralyn Thomas, 54, departed this life on Tuesday, April 12, 2022. Tonya was born in Jacksonville, Florida on October 8, 1967 to her parents. She received her high school diploma from Edward H. White High School in 1985.
Tonya later met and married George L. Thomas, Jr. on September 20, 1986. From this union was born Britney and Courtney Thomas.
She has been a proud employee of First Coast Service Options for 35 years.
Tonya is survived by her husband of 35 years, George L. Thomas Jr.; daughters, Britney (Darrell Smith) and Courtney (Jakwaun Johnson); grandchildren, Cayden, Anayia, and Jayce; parents, Barbara and Thomas Kirce,
and George Barnes (Grenda); siblings, Sean Kirce, Tori Kirce (Tinisha), Kevin Barnes (Daphne), Kerry Barnes, Shalonda Barnes Warren (Gerald), and Shari Barnes Hamilton (Cari); and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
