Vera Lee Baker was born in Fernandina Beach on January 27, 1927 to the late Leon and Florence Holzendorf who preceded her in death. Vera was married to the late John R. Baker who also preceded her in death in May of 2009.

As a young lady she joined Trinity United Methodist Church and was a faithful member until her sickness. She attended Peck High School in Fernandina Beach.

Vera leaves to cherish her memory one son, Bernard Ralph Baker;, and daughter-in-law JoAnn Baker; two grandsons Derrick Baker and the late Damion Baker who passed in 2003; one granddaughter Mia Kira Williams; two great granddaughters Dasia Chanel & Deanna Jeanette Baker; two great grandsons Teddy & Darian Williams and a host of other
relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Vera Baker will be held 11:00 am FRIDAY, April 29th, 2016 at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Fernandina Beach.
