Obituary for Virginia Lee Felton

Sister Virginia L. Felton was born in Vero Beach, Florida on March 23, 1931 to her parents, Oscar and Elizabeth Walker. She received her education in Detroit, Michigan. Virginia confessed Christ at an early age, attending Genesis Missionary Baptist Church in Denver, Colorado and later joined the New First Corinth Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. M. L. Lockett and Deacon Levi Lyles-Leader.

Virginia was married to Johnny J. Felton and for many dedicated years she was a domestic engineer.

Virginia departed this life on Saturday, December 22, 2018. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Johnny Felton; mother, Elizabeth Walker; and father, Oscar Walker.

Virginia leaves to cherish her memories: a loving son, Robert Pollard; two grandchildren, Maurielle Pollard and Maurice Pollard; niece, Bretton Conyers; and a host of in-laws, other relatives and close friends.

The funeral service for Virginia Lee Felton will be held 10:30 am Monday, December 31st, 2018 at the Samuel C. Rogers, Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N. Main Street Jacksonville, Fl 32206. The visitation will be 9:30 - 10:30am, Monday, December 31st, 2018 at the Funerals By T. S. Warden 4315 North Main Street Jacksonville, FL 32206. Interment in Jacksonville National Cemetery.
