Wayne Daryl Peyton was born on January 20, 1978, in Jacksonville, Florida to Wayne Payton, Sr and Deanna Thomas Mays. Wayne was baptized as a baby by Reverend Robert L Goodman of Little Macedonia Holiness Church. Wayne attended school in Duval County where he excelled in his academics.
Wayne loved his family, the outdoors, music, and was a member of the House of Yaweh since 1997.
Wayne's final Sunset and transition to God, our creator, was on Friday, April 22, 2022. Wayne was preceded in death by his mother, Deanna Thomas Mays; paternal grandparents; maternal grandfather; and uncle, Stanley Thomas. He leaves to cherish his memory father, Wayne Payton, Sr. (Aja); grandmother, Betty Jean Thomas; brothers, Curtis Mays II, Tyler Thomas, Darrel Payton, and Wayne Payton Jr; sisters, Sherika Payton, Tenisha Payton, and Sheyanndra Payton; uncles, Dana Rock, Terry Rock, and Michael Daniels; aunts, Tanya Daniels, Shirley Thomas, Fayenessa Daniels, and Valtoni Thomas; great aunts, Willa Faye Cohen and Rosalyn Thomas;
a host of cousins, faithful companion, Dorothy Jenkins, friends, and fur baby, MaMa.
