Obituary for Willa Dean Brunson

As A symbol of His love, God breathed Willa Dean into existence on July 27, 1946 to the late Mr. James Miller and Mrs. Lugenia Copeland Miller Woods.

Willa Dean attended the Lowndes County Public Education System. She has resided over the past fifty years in Jacksonville, Florida. Creating a family of children, grandchildren, numerous relatives, and friends. What a boisterous and vibrant voice that was so full of life. You would always know she was coming, she had such a way with words that she could make you laugh until you cry, and leave you speechless. With the laughter also came great wisdom.

Willa Dean departed this life on Tuesday, August 23, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Willa Dean leaves to cherish loving memories to her six sons, Stanley, Pernell, Cecil, Richard, Francis, and Johnny (Eva); two daughters, Wanetta Joyce and Catherine Joyce Mathis; siblings, Arthur Miller (Irene), Mae Lois Miller, Lillie Bah (Omar), and Maxine Parrish (Eddie); grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom loved her and was devoted to her; an abundance of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The funeral service for Willa Dean Brunson will be held 11AM, Saturday, September 3rd, 2016 at the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church 195 Tallulah Avenue. The visitation will be 5 - 7PM , at the Funerals By T. S. Warden 4315 North Main Street. Interment in Restlawn Cemeteries. Please sign the family guest book @ www.tswarden.com.
