Willie Lee Hawkins was born on February 14, 1954 to Sadie Mae Hawkins in Jacksonville, Florida. He attended The Sanctuary of Mt. Calvary. Willie attended the public schools in Duval County graduating from Robert E. Lee High School.

Willie departed this life Friday, November 16, 2018. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sadie Mae Hawkins and sister, Lenore Marie Hawkins.

Willie leaves to cherish his memories: his brothers and sisters, Yvonne Ranson (William), Curtis Hawkins (Gennice), Leon Hawkins (Alice), Ceola Daniels and Gwendolyn Flournoy; Thirty-three nieces and nephews; a host of other relatives and friends.
