Obituary for Willie Lee Pearson Jr.

Willie Lee Pearson, Jr., AKA “Will” was born April 16, 1965 in Miami, Florida to the late Willie Lee Pearson, Sr. and Rosie Lee Small. He confessed Christ at an early age and was a member of Celebration Church in Austin, Texas.

Willie received his education in his hometown, Miami, Florida and graduated from high school June 1983. After completing high school, Willie joined the United States Army and served honorably 10 years.

Willie was a retired veteran but he also had an excellent career after serving his country. He worked 10 years with Fort Bragg PSBC Fire Emergency Services Division, Fort Bragg, North Carolina; two years with Brookhaven Fire Department in Brookhaven, Mississippi; two years with ODECO Drilling & Exploration Company, New Orleans Louisiana (Gulf of Mexico); one year with Samsung Austin Semiconductor, Austin Texas; ATX Mobile Change Business (self employed); and several other successful business endeavors.

Willie departed this life on Thursday, March 25, 2021 and was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Lee Pearson, Sr. and Rosie Lee Small; and brother, Marvin Pearson.

Willie leave to cherish his memories wife, Sandra Wilcox-Pearson, two daughters, Tashaina Collins and Brittany Florine Duncan; one stepson, Maurice Wilcox; one granddaughter, Emily Wilcox; four siblings, Debra Pearson, Georgeana Lozin, Nathaniel Small, and Ronald Small (Cathy);  three sisters-in-law, Ann Graham (Sam), Mildred Rhodes (Mike), and Gloria Williams; one brother-in-law, John Wilcox; one aunt, Bretha Wynn; pet “Chloe”; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
