Loved ones: Though it is true that we are all, including Ms. Elois, prisoners of death and this causes sadness, I hope that your faith in the promises of a God who cannot lie proves to be comforting. At 1 Corinthians 15:26, God has promised that "the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing." This means that he will bring those who have already died back to life. He promised that Ms. Elois who is "powerless in death" will live again. (Isaiah 26:19) This shows just how much he cares about you and your grief. (1 Peter 5:6-7)
