Obituary for Viola Louise Spencer

Viola Louise  Spencer
Viola Louise Spencer, was born in Jacksonville, Florida, on June 12, 1925. She was educated in the local schools and was a very well known, and successful Beautician in this city.

On July 16, 1945, she was united in Holy Matrimony to Rufus Lee Spencer. Ms. Spencer, departed this life on Tuesday, January 6, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, four siblings and a niece.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her pride and joy; 2 loving, and devoted daughters, Linda Spencer-Powell and Melvenia Spencer-Conner. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Natasha Powell, Tami Powell, Alfred Kevin Powell, Vanda Powell, and William Tyler Conner; great grandchildren, Corey A. Powell, Ariel J. Powell, and Alexius M. Powell; brother-in-laws, Charles F. Spencer (Elaine) and George Spencer (Americus); sister-in-law, Doris Spencer Johnson; god sons, John V. Washington, Alfred Louis Jordan and Cecil Williams, and a host of sorrowful nieces, nephews, past patrons, and a multitude of wonderful, caring friends whom she loved dearly.

The funeral service for Viola Louise Spencer will be held 11AM, Wednesday at the Greater Macedonia Baptist Church . The visitation will be 5-8PM, Tuesday at the mortuary.
