Ruby Ceil Webster - Potts, was born on April 10, 1944, in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Rev. Enoch Webster, Sr. and Ola Mae Webster. Ruby graduated from Matthew W. Gilbert, Class of 1962. She pursued her education and graduated from Florida Memorial College, Class of 1970. Mrs. Potts was a member of Morning Star Free Will Baptist Church and she made a living as a school teacher in the Dade County School District of Miami, Duval County School District in Jacksonville, Florida and Onondaga County in Syracuse, New York.

Ruby, entered into eternal rest on February 5, 2015, she was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Enoch Webster and Ola Mae Webster; sister, Latrice Brown; brother, Charlie Webster.

Ruby is survived by her children: Elmore E. Bing, IV (Jacqueline), Terrance C. Bing, Aaron J. Bing, Vernie S. McCullough, Jr., and Detra L. McCullough, eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, brother, Enoch Webster, Jr., Jacksonville, FL; sister, Daisy Webster-McDonald, Los Angeles, CA, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Ruby Ceil Potts will be held 11AM, Friday at the Samuel C. Rogers Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N. Main Street. The visitation will be 3 - 5PM, Thursday at the mortuary.
