Robert Lee Glover affectionately known as “Bubba” was born in Bamberg, South Carolina on August 26, 1938 he was the first born to the late Lee and Cleo Glover.

Robert attended school in Bamberg, South Carolina, he also worked as a Cement Finisher for over 40 years.

Robert later married Ruby Sherman Glover in Bamberg, South Carolina; they were married for 55 years. From that union were born three sons and one daughter, Ronald Lee Glover (deceased), Kip P. Glover (Isabell), David Lee Glover, Eartha D. Glover.

Robert departed this life on March 4, 2015, and was preceded in death by his parents Lee and Cleo Glover, three brothers, four sisters and his son Ronald Lee Glover.

Robert leaves to cherish his memory; his wife, Ruby Sherman Glover; two sons, Kip P. Glover (Isabell) and David L. Glover; one daughter, Eartha D. Glover; his loving granddaughter, Taneisha Wilson; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He also leaves behind his four brothers, Bobby J. Glover (Rozenia), Leroy Glover (Adrienna), Lester Glover and Brooker T. Glover; one sister, Flourine Johnson all from his hometown, Bamberg, South Carolina. He leaves a special sister, Matha Lee Waiters; three sister-n-laws, Hattie M. Gordon, Hattie L. Cathcart and Ruthella Stiney (Rodney) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and sorrowing friends.

The funeral service for Robert Lee Glover will be held 11AM, Saturday at the Samuel C. Rogers, Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N. Main St. The visitation will be 5 - 7PM, Friday at the mortuary.
