Johnnie  Tukes Sr.
Mr. Johnnie Tukes, Sr., departed from this life on March 9, 2015. He lived a beautiful life of sixty four years. The world was graced with this angel on November 23, 1950 to the late, Mr. Allen Tukes, Sr. and Queen Tukes.

Mr. Tukes was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Allen and Queen Tukes; brothers, James Moss and Marcus Tukes.

Mr. Tukes leaves a wife of 42 years of loving, cherished memories, Prophetess Ruthene Tukes; children, Johnnie Tukes, Jr. (Tara), Tremayne Tukes (Tiffeny, Fiancée), Shameka Tukes (Donald Russell, Fiancé); grandchildren, Jazmayne of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Zhane Anderson, Malachi Johnson, Deshawn Tukes, Eric Collins, Tremayne Tukes, Jr., Apryl Tukes, all of Jacksonville, Florida; father-in-law, Deacon Jimmie Mosley; mother-in-law, Deaconess Emma Mosley; aunts, Correen Roszier of Fitzgerald, Georgia, Mira Wright of Fairburn, Georgia, Elise Brewer of Stone Mountain, Georgia; uncles, Fletcher Tukes of Gaithersburg, Maryland; siblings, Allen Tukes, Jr. (Evelyn), Carolyn Wheeler, Fletcher Tukes (Judy), Mary Holmes (Angelo), Victoria Jefferson, Juanita George (Marcel), Marie Hall, Mark Tukes; brother-in-law, Louis Mosley (Margaret); sister-in-laws, Ida Robinson and Barbara Sheppard, and a host of nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, cousins, friends, and a special fiend, Tommy Revere.

The funeral service for Johnnie Tukes will be held 11AM, Saturday at the Greater New Jeruselem Baptist Church 207 West 6th Street. The visitation will be 5 - 7PM, Friday at the mortuary.
