Benjamin William Cannadate III
The Obituary of
Mr. Benjamin William Cannadate, III

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”Revelation 21:4

Mr. Benjamin W. Cannadate, III quietly and peacefully departed his earthly life on Saturday, March 14, 2015 when Jesus Christ called for His faithful servant to come home. Today we celebrate Benjamin’s life. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida on December 12, 1967. He was a loving and devoted son of Mr. Benjamin William Cannadate, Jr. and the late Mrs. Eleanora Lamar Cannadate. Benjamin received his education through Duval County Schools, and later obtained his GED. He had dreams of having his own successful business, and that set the tone for his endeavors.

Benjamin had a love of music and fashion, and he knew whatever business he pursued, it would have to impact those very unique parts of him. After pursuing local various interests, Benjamin decided to move to Elk Grove, California, where he obtained his license as a Master Barber, and began his dream career. There he opened his first barbershop, D-Vision 1 Cuts & Style, a successful and thriving business. He also created Elegant Styles, a business dedicated to fashionable clothing.

Benjamin decided to move back to Jacksonville last year, where he opened another D-Vision 1 Cuts & Style barbershop to further his entrepreneurship. He continued operating that business until his death. In his spare time, Benjamin enjoyed spending time with his family. He was also an avid Jacksonville Jaguar fan.

Benjamin is survived by his loving fiancée, Ms. Serena Davis of Sacamento, Calafornia his companion for the past five years; his beloved son, Benjamin William Cannadate, IV; father, Benjamin William Cannadate, Jr.; sister, Mrs. Monica McQuay (Anthony), brother, Kenneth L. Patrick. Benjamin was preceded in death by his mother, Eleanora Cannadate; brothers, Mr. Vincent R. Patrick and Mr. Anthony J. Patrick, all of Jacksonville, Florida. Benjamin also leaves a host of family and close friends who will cherish his memory. As well as his godson, Spencer Blair.
