Kenneth Gould Moore was born on August 17, 1946 at Brewster Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. He was the second child of Claude and Catherine Moore and the younger brother of Delmar Moore.

Kenneth graduated from Stanton Vocational High School in 1965 from there he attended Florida Junior College where he earned a Police Recruit Training Certificate. He later went into the United States Army where he served two years and was honorably discharged from the military.

Kenneth never had any children, but loved and treated his brother, Delmar’s children like they were his very own.

Kenneth confessed Christ as an adult and was a member of Triumph the Church and Kingdom of God in Christ in Perry, Florida where his nephew and namesake, Kenneth Moore is the Pastor.

Kenneth departed this life unexpectedly on Monday, May 4, 2015, and was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Catherine Moore; brother, Delmar Moore, who drowned at sea on a fishing trip in 1974.

Kenneth leaves to cherish his memories, a sister-in-law, Sylvia Rowe; nephews, Kenneth (Janice) Moore, Bruce Moore, Ronald Moore, Keith Moore and Gregory (Anita) Moore; niece, Delmar’s only daughter, Cynthia Moore; great nephew, Ricardo Lawrence; great nieces, Erica (Calvin) Redding and Tiffany (Jamaal) Jones of North Carolina and a host of other relatives and sorrowing friends.


The funeral service for Kenneth Gould Moore will be held 11AM, Saturday at the Triumph the Church and Kingdom of God In Christ 7843 Siskin Ave. The visitation will be 5 - 7PM, Friday at the mortuary.
