Leonard Alvin Roberts was born on July 27, 1958 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. He was the second child of Wil Roberts and Vera Sykes and the younger brother of Bennie Roberts.

Leonard attended Pine Castle’s Vocational Training School. He was well known in his community for many years and loved by everyone.

Leonard was preceded in death by his father, Wil Roberts. On Monday, May 11, 2015, God sent his heavenly angels to carry his child safely home to behold him forever more. Thank you Jesus, he’s finally at peace. No more pain or suffering; all his worries are now over. He found sweet, sweet rest at last!

Leonard leaves to cherish his memories, his loving mother, Vera Sykes; siblings, Bennie Roberts, Stephanie Cobb (Jeffrey), Kimberly Dixon, Jessica Sykes; niece and nephews; Renee Walker, Rashard Walker, Renaldo Walker, Jeremiah Cabral, Jackson Cabral; great niece and great nephews: Rey’Onna Bryant, Daniel Walker, Mccai Walker, Deshaun Walker; and a host of other relatives and sorrowing friends.

The funeral service for Leonard Roberts will be held 11AM, Saturday at the Mt Ararat Baptist Church 2503 N Myrtle Ave. The visitation will be 5 - 7PM, Friday at the mortuary.
