Condolence: Dee was one of my best friends in the world. I loved her like my sister. I met Dee at work in 1981, and we remained friends from that time on. She was a kind, caring person. I have been trying to get in touch with her recently, and had my and Dee's friend, Lula Gilliam trying to find a phone number for her. I felt an urgent need to talk with her. We always knew when the other one needed them. Lula just got in touch with me today to let me know of her passing. I am so saddened. I will forever miss our long conversations and friendship. I know Dee would tell me to celebrate her life , and not to grieve. She was one of God's gift to the world, and I am so grateful that I was a part of it. I know you are in paradise now, Dee. I will cherish the memories we had as best friends. This is not goodbye, but it is until we meet again...
