Obituary for Annie Lois Jones
Annie Lois Gantt Jones was born on October 6, 1950 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Daisy Lee Gantt and Willie Gantt. Annie attended Matthew W. Gilbert High School graduating with the Class of 1968. She confessed Christ and was a member of Springhill Baptist Church. Annie later met and married Otis L. Jones on December 19, 1990.
Annie departed this life on Wednesday, July 1, 2015, she was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Daisy Lee Gantt.
Annie leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Otis Jones; daughter, Toyshere Robinson; son, Irving Gantt, Sr. (Kerrin); five grandchildren, To’Varius, William, Irvieona, Irmauni, and Irving Jr.; sisters, Mary Gantt Green Alston, Willie Mae Martin, Adell Jones Geddies, Ida West, Beatrice Louis, Helen White, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Annie Lois Jones will be held 11AM, Saturday, at the Samuel C. Rogers Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N. Main Street. The visitation will be 5-7PM, Friday, at the mortuary.
