Obituary for Perman Brooks
Mr. Perman Brooks, Jr. was born on August 6, 1954 in Jacksonville, Florida to Carleen Brooks. He was the third child, he had three sisters and four brothers. Perman attended the local schools in Duval County graduating from Stanton High School, Class of 1972.
Perman departed this life on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 and was preceded in death by his son, Raymond Leonard Rowe; brother, Drury Brooks; grandparents, Ernest Moore and Mildred Moore.
Perman leaves to mourn his passing, mother, Carleen Brooks; sisters, Chevella Harris (Antonio), Marlene Brooks, Valarie Y. Parker (Larry); brothers, Andre Brooks (Charmaine), Mario Brooks (Janice), and George Brooks; aunt, Deloris Ellington; uncles, Lilton Moore (Leola), Richard Jones (Sandra); and a host of other cousins, relatives, and sorrowing friends.
The chapel service for Perman Brooks will be held 11AM, Saturday, at the Samuel C. Rogers Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N. Main Street. The visitation will be 5 - 7PM, Friday, at the mortuary.
