Willie Dallas  Ansley
Willie Dallas Ansley was born on February 19, 1932 to Dallas and Fannie Mae Ansley in Jacksonville, Florida. Willie was raised in the “Sweetwater” Community. He attended the Duval County Public Schools and then enlisted in the United States Army. Willie was a veteran of the Korean War and served in the Infantry. Upon being honorably discharged from the army he returned to Jacksonville, Florida where he worked, and was a loving and devoted family man. He later retired from Reed’s Construction Company and was an active member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

Willie departed this life on Sunday, August 30, 2015, he was preceded in death by his parents, Dallas and Fannie Mae Ansley; two children, George Ansley and Judy Simmons; and a brother, Alfred Ansley, Sr..

Willie leaves behind to mourn a loving wife of 19 years, Ellen Ansley; six children, Emma Ansley, Christine Simpkins, Rhonda (Sam) Cothron, Jr., Dawn (Kevin) Simmons, Charles Horne, and Tequila Harris; two brothers, Paul (Patricia) Ansley, and Lloyd (Emma Jean) Ansley; four sisters, Catherine Buford, Virginia (Freddie) Jackson, Helen Lloyd, and Dorothy Tucker; multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren; along with a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and many close friends.
