Obituary for Joseph Jerome Johnson

Joseph Jerome  Johnson
Joseph Jerome Johnson was born on February 16, 1958 in Jacksonville, Florida to Ernest Johnson and Frankie Mae Moore-Johnson. He attended the local schools and graduated from Jean Ribault High School, he also attended First New Zion Baptist Church. Joseph was employed by Brown Construction Company for over a decade.

Joseph departed this life on Thursday, February 4, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Frankie Johnson; brothers, Bernard, Nathan, Ernest, Sylvester Johnson, Sr.; sister, Ernestine Mathis.

Joseph leaves to mourn his passing his children, Cheryl Hampton (Andrew) and Thaddeus Hampton (Tamara); brothers, Patrick Johnson and Eugene Johnson (Natalie); sisters, Lucille Johnson and Patricia Walker; sister-in-law, Delois Johnson; aunt, Joanne Sapp; grandchildren, Ronnisha, Kgorryi, Jada, Jasmine, Aridius Jr., Suidira, Janae, Thaddeus Jr., Tamryn, and Taderus; a host of nieces, nephews, favorite cousin, Stanley Moore; best friend, Johnie Johnson; special friend, Mary Gibson-Johnson.

The funeral service for Joseph Jerome Johnson will be held 11:00 am Saturday, February 13th, 2016 at the Mt. Herman Miss. Baptist Church 5527 Redpoll Avenue Jacksonville, Florida 32219. The visitation will be 5:00 pm 7:00 pm , Friday, February 12th, 2016 at the Funerals By T. S. Warden 4315 North Main Street Jacksonville, FL 32206. Interment in Hillard Cemetery.
