Rhonda LaRuth Johnson was born on August 5, 1964 to Johnnie V. Johnson and Robert C. Johnson, Sr. Rhonda attended the public schools of Duval County, graduating from Paxon Senior High School.

Rhonda departed this life on Saturday, May 21, 2016. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert C. Johnson, Sr.; sister, Marsha D. Rollinson, and grandparents.

Rhonda leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Johnnie V. Johnson; son, Terry K. Dawson; daughters, Shereta D. Ceeshay (Omar), Monique V. Dawson, and Chemir Stephens; grandchildren, Keshawn Dawson, Deshawn Dawson, Jalyn Dawson, Tarrell Dawson, Tamya Dawson, Treasure Dawson, Terry Dawson, Rhonda Dawson, Omar Ceesay, and Adam Ceesay; sisters, Michelle Y. Griffin and Jeannetta Johnson; brothers, Robert C. Johnson, Jr.; aunts, Catherine Jones, Jacqueline Cobb, and Margaret Sessions; uncles, Bernard Wilson and Wayne Kendrick; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends.

Rhonda was a rare jewel that was loved by all, “Rhonda was Rhonda.”

The funeral service for Rhonda LaRuth Johnson will be held 12PM, Thursday, May 26th, 2016 at the The Worship Place 2627 Spring Glen Road. The visitation will be 4 -6PM, Wednesday, at the mortuary.
