Obituary for Mildred Kitt

Mildred R. Kitt was born on February 18, 1936 in Jacksonville,Florida to the late Frank and Josephine Lee.

Mildred graduated from New Stanton High School, Class of 1955. She earned a certification and later became a Certified Nursing Assistant, working at Memorial Hospital for a number of years. Later, she worked at Busch Canning Metal Container Company as a cook/cashier before retirement.

Mildred was married to Nathaniel Reynolds who preceded her in death. As a result of their love and union, the Lord blessed them with 3 children. She later married Ervin Kitt who also preceded her in death.

Mildred was a faithful member of The Heir Church where she served as a greeter, choir member, and active member of the Women of Faith and Power Women Ministries. She was also a graduate of the Heir Ministry and Heir-U-Cation Department.

Mildred had such a wonderful personality and a love for people. She loved her family, her children, her Pastor, and her Church family. She was such a diva and classy lady, always dressing to a tee. Her beauty lit up the room.

On Wednesday July 6, 2016 Sister Mildred Kitt departed this earthly life leaving to cherish her memories:

Loving Children: Velda Woodard who preceded her in death, Linda Cisero, Emery Reynolds (Antonia), Gary Kitt, and Maria Jones who she did not birth but they are her children.
Grand Children: Anthony Reynolds, Andre Reynolds, Johnathan Woodard, Mildreda Woodard, LaToya Woodard, Fenique Cisero, Darrion Cisero, Nathaniel Criswell, Emily Reynolds, Tonesha Coleman, Javoris Blue, and Tauvia Blue.
Great Grandchildren: Julianique Cisero, Shania Flores, Shainique Flores, Shawnta Flores, Brenden Brown, LaThomas Dennis, Jamil Keyes, Johnna Woodard, and Shacoby DaShawn Woodard (preceded her in death)..
Siblings: Frank Lee and Herbert Lee preceded her in death; Daisy Smith, Rosemerry Watkins, Melissa Lee, and Johnny Lee; and a host of nephews, nieces, church family, and wonderful friends.

The funeral service for Mildred Kitt will be held 11AM, Saturday at the The Heir Church 2100 Dunn Avenue. The visitation will be 5 - 7PM, Friday at the mortuary.
