Obituary for Martha Ann Richburg

Martha Ann  Richburg
Martha Ann Austin Richburg, was born on March 17, 1939 in Bainbridge, Georgia to Lee and Marguerite Austin. Martha Ann confessed her life to Christ at an early age and was a former member of Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church for many years.

Martha received her education at New Stanton High, and a nursing certificate from Florida Community College of Jacksonville. Martha retired as a Librarian’s Assistant from the Duval County Public School Board in 2002. Martha is an active member of New Life Power Ministries where Rev. Dr. Tywanna S. Estell is the pastor.

Martha departed this life on July 8, 2016. She was preceded in death by both parents, Lee Austin and Marguerite Wilson; and a brother, James Wilson.

Martha leaves to mourn her husband, James Richburg, Jr.; five children, a daughter, Geraline L. Austin; sons, Alton D. Huff, Glenn Austin Leftwich, Harry Michael Leftwich, and Vincent Leftwich; sisters, Almeta Clark Benoit and Ira F. Wilson King; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; three nieces, Allyson Bowden, Bridget Benoit, and Moya King; one nephew, Joseph Benoit; brother-in-laws, Charles Richburg (Bonnie) and Arthur Lee (Bernadette); sister-in-law, Emma Lee Clark; four stepchildren, James Richburg, III, Regina Green (Darryl), Alberto Richburg, and Melissa Smith (Shawn), and a host of cousins and other sorrowing friends, also to cherish her memory is her godmother, Ms. Rose Watts.

The funeral service for Martha Ann Austin Richburg will be held 12:00 pm Wednesday, July 27th, 2016 at the Samuel C. Rogers, Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N. Main Street.
