Obituary for Catherine Green
Catherine Elizabeth Jones Green was born on September 1, 1930 to Willie and Leola Jones, Sr. in Deland, Florida. She confessed Christ at an early age and was a member of Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church. Catherine attended the local schools in Duval County.
Catherine departed this life on Friday, August 12, 2016. She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Jones, Sr.; mother, Leola J. Bryant; brother, Willie Jones, Jr.; grandson, Ronnie Davis; and great-grandson, Kevin Jones.
Catherine leaves to cherish her memories, sons, Kenneth Jones of West Palm Beach, Florida, Carl Jones (Nancy), and Walter J. Palmore; daughters, Brenda P. Mitchell (Ronnie) and Leah P. Key (Jeff) all of Portland, Oregon; numerous stepchildren and great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
The funeral service for Catherine Green will be held 11:00 am Friday, August 26th, 2016 at the Samuel C. Rogers Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N. Main St. The visitation will be 4 - 6PM , Thursday, at the mortuary. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery. Please sign the family guest book @ www.tswarden.com. Arrangements in care of Tyrone S.
