Obituary for HENRY BRINSON Sr.
Henry was born on March 12, 1934 to loving parents, Jonas and Essie Mae Brinson in Madison County Florida. He also attended school in Madison Florida. Henry was united in holy matrimony to the love of his life, Hattie Hill Brinson on May 26, 1956, to this union three children were born.
Henry was employed by Coca Cola Enterprise as a salesman. He retired from Coca Cola after 35 years of service, at the age of 55 years old.
Henry was baptized into the Church of Christ in 1989, where he remained faithful until a debilitating illness made it difficult to attend worship service.
Henry departed this life on Tuesday, October 4, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Alberta Brinson Durden and Rachel Hudson; three brothers, Jonas Brinson, Jr., Leonard Brinson, and A.C. Johnson.
Henry leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife of 60 years, Hattie Brinson; daughters, Demetria Brinson McWhite and Sheila Brinson Myers (King); son, Henry Brinson, Jr.; like a daughter, Mary Freeman; grandchildren, Raymond Marcus McWhite (Monica), Marshea McWhite, Henry Brinson, III (Ashekia), Delisa Cunningham, and Keandra Brinson; great-grandchildren, Kashus McWhite, Kendall and Kennan Plummer, Charles Davis, Maleeya, Malisa, and Markeya McWhite, Jemaris, Khalil, and Kree Brinson; two brothers, George Brinson (Posey) of Madison, Florida and Jerome Brinson of Jacksonville, Florida; three sisters, Susie Henry, Louise Johnson of Jacksonville, Florida, and Johnnie Mae Williams (Ola) of Lake City, Florida; two sister-in-laws, Ruby Hicks of East Point Michigan and Georgia Brinson of Jacksonville, Florida; a special and only uncle, J.W. Johnson (Lovie); a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
The funeral service for HENRY BRINSON SR. will be held 10AM, Friday, October 14th, 2016 at the Northside Church of Christ 4736 Avenue B.. The visitation will be 5 - 7PM, Thursday, at the mortuary.
