Obituary for Michael Lavon Green
Michael Lavon Green, Sr. was born in Jacksonville, Florida to Mary Roberts (deceased) and Curtis Roberts on November 19, 1959. Michael was a devoted husband, father and friend. He departed this life on Tuesday, October 18, 2016, and is now at peace with God.
Michael leaves behind his wife, Diane Green, whom he married on November 6, 1977; and a daughter, Letashia Green; two sons, Michael Lavon Green Jr. and Delvin Green (Charmisa); Tiara Okonkwo (mother of 3 grandkids); seven grandchildren, Delvin Green Jr, Tatianna Green, Delvin Green III, Mionna Green, Keshawn Green, D’Angelo Green, and K’mari Green; a sister, Wanda Green; two brothers, Curtis Roberts Jr. (Louise) and Anthony Roberts (Corinna); a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, two sister-n-laws, four brother-n-laws, a mother-n-law, and a variety of friends that will miss him.
The funeral service for Michael Lavon Green will be held 11:00 am Saturday, October 29th, 2016 at the Emmanuel COGIC of Jacksonville 6326 Dunn Avenue JACKSONVILLE, FL 32218. The visitation will be 5:00 pm 7:00 pm , Friday, October 28th, 2016 at the Funerals By T. S. Warden 4315 North Main Street Jacksonville, FL 32206. Interment in Private. Please sign the family guest book @ www.tswarden.com. Arrangements in care of Tyrone S. Warden, FDIC, 4315 N. Main Street, 765-1234
