Ashley Nesshay Brown was born on September 20, 1987 to Clarence W. and Darlena Driskell Green. She was the sixth of eight children. Ashley attended the public schools of Duval County. Ashley was employed by the Edgewood Rehabilitation Center and she was currently attending Jersey College, School of Nursing.
Ashley departed this life on Monday, November 28, 2016. She was preceded in death by her son, Master Nairobi Ahdual Thompson, Jr.
Ashley leaves to cherish her memories her son, Jordan V. Lawton; daughter, Juliana A. Brown; her loving parents, Clarence and Darlene Green; grandmother, Flora Stewart; adopted grandmother, Dickerson; four brothers, Corey Cooper, Bryan Cooper, Christian Cooper, and Wesley Green; three sisters, Brandy Cooper, Chiquita Jackson, and Brittany Green; uncle, Tom Green; aunts, Barbara (Melvin) Scayles, Phyllis (Otis) Wright, Beverly (Eddie Lee) Solman, and Carylon (Kevin) Dixson; Marion Dorsey, Mercdee Garvin, Winfred Stewart, Leoana (Sandy) Cannary, Vanessa Davis, Angela, and Zelda Gail Weeks; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, Tasha McCray and April Scayles; godfather, Nathaniel King; god sisters, Tiffaney Thomas and Shana Grant; god brother, Marcus Gibson; friends, Jazimine, Latonya, Ronisha, Sarah, Danielle, Lila Tate & Family, Cheryl Burney & Family, Watson Family, Diann Gibson & family, and Nettie Cook Gibson & Family.
