Obituary for Irine Winters
Irine Winters was born on December 2, 1948 to Johnny Winters and Celess Thomas in Macclenny, Florida. She attended the local schools of Duval County. Irine was employed with ET Transportation as a driver for many years.
Irine went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 30, 2016. She was preceded in death by her mother, Celess Thomas; sister, Shirley Monroe; brother, Ray “Spunky” Thomas; niece, Kimberly Thomas; and best friend, Shirley Watson-Maree.
Irine left to cherish precious memories: godchildren, LaQuanta Shanks, LaTasha Thomas, Tahja Parrish, Tasheria Parrish, Tephanie Thomas, Kenneth Thomas, and Warren “Terry” Monroe; sisters, Deborah Thomas, Elizabeth Thomas, Gail Butter (William), and Pauline Jones; brother, Jimmie Thomas (Barbara); nieces, Selena, Tephanie, LaQuanta, LaTasha, Charmaine, Dineshia (Andre), Belleme (Anthony), Lytinial (Kenneth), and Tracy (Corey); nephews, Kenneth, Raynard, Terry, Ronnie, Keith (Tiffany), James (Jackie), and Jimmy Jr. (Tania); a host of great nieces, great nephews, and friends.
The funeral service for Irine Winters will be held 11:00 am Friday, at the Divine Truth & Deliverance Ministry 2979 Spencer St. The visitation will be 4 - 6:00 pm, Thursday at the mortuary.
