Obituary for ODESSA MAE WILLIAMS
Mrs. Odessa Mae Brunson Williams, affectionately known as “Tiny” was born on November 12, 1934 to the late Inell Brunson and Odester Brunson in Jacksonville, Florida. She received her education in the local schools in the city. Odessa entered into holy matrimony with Sim Williams and to this union three children, Normadine, Vivan and Roberta were born.
Odessa departed this life on April 1, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Vivan Williams.
Odessa leaves to forever cherish her memories, a devoted and caring family; daughters, Normadine Turner (Joseph) and Roberta Williams; grandchildren, Joseph Turner Jr., Melissa Gross (John), Diathra Turner, Alonzo Turner (Juliet) and Vivian S. Williams;13 great-grandchildren; 7 great great-grandchildren; brother, Mr. Aaron Brunson; devoted caregivers, Sandra Brown and Gwendolyn Johnson; and a host of cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
The funeral service for Odessa Mae Brunson"Tiny" Williams will be held 1:30 PM SATURDAY, April 8th, 2017 at the Samuel C. Rogers Jr. Memorial Chapel, 4315 N. Main St. The visitation will be held 5 -7:00 pm, Friday, at the mortuary. Interment in Marrietta Cemetery. Please sign the family guest book and view the video tribute @ www.tswarden.com.
