Henry Carlton Myers, Sr. was born on September 1, 1954 to Wilma Jean Myers and Charles R. Martin. He attended the Duval County Public Schools; he graduated from Stanton Vocational School and attended Santa Fe Community College and University of Florida.

Henry was deemed one of the best tailors of all time. He mastered tailoring for over 40 years in Florida and abroad. Henry accepted the Lord as his savior.

Henry was called home, Saturday, January 18, 2018. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry Myers, Sr. and Rosa Lee Myers; daughter, Johannas Myers.

Henry is survived by his wife, Linda Louise Myers; children, Tharthur Myers (Sherry), Henry Myers, Jr., Adri Anne Myers (Gary), Andrea Myers (Sam), Phyllis Averett (Edward),Morris Scott, Kimberly Love Smith (Linwood), Daryl Love, Travis McCullough, Robin M. Harley (Fletcher); a devoted godson, Allen Graham; friend, Mr. D.V. Williams; a host of grandchildren; sisters, Cynthia Murkey and Phyllis Frazier; nieces, nephews, cousins, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws and friends.
