Obituary for Lamonica Nicole Hayes

Lamonica Nicole  Hayes
LaMonica Nicole Hayes was born on December 10, 1969 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Nathaniel R. E. Hayes (T.C) and Voncille Stukes Hayes Griggs. LaMonica was the second oldest of four children. She attended Raines High School in Jacksonville, Florida. LaMonica chose a career in Hospitality Restaurant Management which expanded between the cities of Orlando, Jacksonville and Atlanta. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior and was a member of Berean Christian Church in Atlanta, Georgia.

On Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 9:03pm LaMonica transitioned peacefully at Southern Regional Hospital from her earthly home to reside with her heavenly father. She was preceded in death by her father and grandmother.

LaMonica leaves to cherish her memories a devoted family: three children, Shameika Hayes Atlanta, Georgia, Tasheika Hayes, Jacksonville, Florida and Kenyatta Strickland, Jr. Atlanta, Georgia; mother, Voncille Stukes Hayes Griggs, Jacksonville, Florida; longtime friend, Kenyatta Strickland, Atlanta, Georgia; three siblings, Nathaniel Hayes (Angela) Atlanta, Georgia, Jernard Hayes (Katrina) Jacksonville, Florida and Bridgette Hayes, Atlanta, Georgia; grandchildren, Tatiyanna Hayes, Sha’Niyah Wilson and Rylee Wilson; and a host of nieces, nephews, grand nieces, other relatives and friends.
