Obituary for Cerella Y Doles

Cerella Y Doles
Cerella was born on May 1, 1970, to the Late Mary Lois Doles. She attended public schools in Jacksonville, Florida. She was a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.

Cerella departed this life on Monday, September 10, 2018, and had been lovingly surrounded by her family.

Cerella leaves to cherish her memories: Seven children - Shakora Watson, Gerald Watson, Jr., Brittany Doles, Rashad Doles, Dimonte Pickett, Jerisha Johnson, and Donisha Doles; nine grandchildren – Armelle (15), Rayshawn, Jr. (11), Aneya (10), Rashad, Jr. (9), Aniyah (8), Robert (7), Kaliyah (6), Antwone (3), and RaNiyah (1); whom she loved dearly. She enjoyed cooking them nutritious home meals. She was proud of her grandkids, and they loved her too. Also mourning her loss: Sisters - Roslyn Ransom, Loraine Doles-Morgan (Quinton), and Johnny Mae Williams; Brothers - Troy Doles, and Dwayne Randall. Cerella also had loving brothers and sisters from Folkston, GA: Carl Doles, Charlie Doles, Diane Doles, and Shirley Doles; as well as a plethora of cousins, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and many lifelong friends.

Cerella had a special friend for the past two years, “Mr. Timothy” (Smith). He cared for her; staying by her side during her final hospital stay all day, every day…waiting on her hand and foot. He was her lifeline. She also had a very special friend from childhood, Tim Lowrey, who is the Godfather of her firstborn daughter, Shakora Watson. Cerella responded to Tim’s voice on the phone while in her final stage of life. What a beautiful testament of friendship and adoration.

Cerella had a walk of sass and confidence, which was recognized from blocks away by people who knew her. Our uniquely beautiful and special Cerella…gone too soon.
