Obituary for Anita B Hendley

Anita B  Hendley
Anita Elizabeth Brinkley Hendley was born to Frank Brinkley, Sr. and Georgia Lee Brinkley on June 7, 1956. She was baptized at the age of 8 at West Union Baptist Church. Anita graduated from Robert E. Lee in 1974. After graduation she attended Florida Community College of Jacksonville where she obtained an Associate of Arts degree.

Anita wed Randy C. Hendley on February 22, 1984. She has been a devoted and deeply involved member of Livingway Christian Fellowship for over 30 years. Anita was employed by Duval County Schools for a total of 32 years and recently retired. She has worked at North Shore Elementary, Andrew Robinson, and over 20 years at Lone Star Elementary. Additionally, she served as the Summer Program Coordinator at Kingdom Kids.

She touched the lives and hearts of many through her ministry and employment. To know her was to love her. She righteously served the lord and ministered to young people until she was escorted into the gates of heaven.

Anita was preceded in death by her father and mother, Frank and Georgia Brinkley. Her brother Frank Brinkley Jr, and niece Antoinette Dennis.

Anita is survived by her husband Randy C. Hendley; sons, Carlton and Robert Brinkley; daughter, Rahnita Adams (Vanquez); sister, Marie B. Richardson; grandchildren, Arielle Brinkley, Ciane Brinkley, Carlton Brinkley Jr. Robyn Brinkley and Captain Brinkley, Tre’Shawn and Ranard Dornes, Vanquez, Jordan, and Journee Adams; great- grandchildren, Mahki and Maleah Williams and India Dornes; many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service for Anita B. Hendley will be held 12:00 pm Saturday, December 23rd, 2017 at the Household of Faith, 925 W. Edgewood Ave. The visitation will be 5 - 7:00 pm, Friday, at the mortuary. Interment in Restlawn Cemeteries. Please sign the family guest book and view the video tribute @ www.tswarden.com.
