To her son, Mr. Mack and other family members, please accept my most sincere condolences. I hope that you find comfort in the fact that Jesus compares death to sleep … meaning that death is temporary for all those who are sleeping in the grave. God can awaken the dead just as we can awaken a person from sleep. Our heavenly Father lovingly gives us a solid basis for having confidence in his promise to reunite us with our dead loved ones.
