Bernice Cecelia Donaldson Myrick was born on June 2, 1957 in Fernandina Beach, Florida to Essie Mae Brown and the late James Lovett. She attended school and graduated from Fernandina Beach High School. Bernice married David Leroy Myrick on December 16, 1977 and they shared forty years together. She was a faithful member of the Elks Organization, Ocean front Temple #1058 until her health failed her.

Bernice departed this life on June 9, 2015 and was preceded in death by her father, James Lovett; nephew, Quavious Brown and brother, Ronald Donaldson.

Bernice leaves to cherish her memories, a loving husband, David Myrick; mother, Essie Mae Brown; brothers, Russell Brown (Rosie), Joseph Brown (Debra), Anthony Brown, Darrell Edmonds; sisters, Vanchett Brown (Ernest), Patricia Jones (Vincent), Earline Jones (Johnal), Essie Mae Brown (Troy); devoted nieces, Beatrice Jones, Tamica Bacon, Candi Donaldson; friends, Rose Brown, Cassandra King, Georgia Mae Holmes, Sylvia Pace; David Myrick family and extended family; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
