Carisma was born to Lorraine Windsor and Robert Hill on September 23, 1974 in Sierra Madre, California.

She accepted Christ as a teen. Throughout her early years, she was very protective of her sister Tisha and had an open heart to explore new ideas and possibilities.

Carisma completed high school in New York City and earned a Bachelor's degree in Business. Her first-born, Antonio, was born in 1993. Her son, Jorren, was born in 1997.

She married Ray "Anthony" Young in 2007. He affectionately called her "Snowflake." To this union, Ayanna Shalese, Carisma's mini-me, was born.

Carisma is a published author, having penned books such as "Just Be A Man About It" (2010) & "And The Whole House Say Amen" (2013).

Carisma had a passion for learning; she was pursuing a Master's degree in Psychology at the time of her passing and earned a certification in bartending. Carisma hosted online radio shows and was preparing to study sonography.

Carisma made many friends while living in New York, Maryland and North Carolina. Her online following was worldwide.

Carisma enjoyed social media; cooking; writing; blogging; laughing and singing. Her presence was amazing and she would not be ignored. Her personality - bold & unforgettable. Her smile and laugh - beautiful. Her mind - creative.

She'll be remembered as funny, strong-willed and a go getter.

Carisma moved from labor to reward on Friday, January 24, 2014,
in Jacksonville, Florida.

Carisma leaves to mourn her passing: her parents; children - Antonio, Jorren and Ayanna;
grandchildren - Samira and Santana (Antonio); siblings - Tisha (Ken); Robin; Carol; Mandy; Michael; Steven; Elijah and Jaivon; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; and Forever Friends - Joseph Braswell (brother) and Melissa Martinez.
