Obituary for Charles Leroy Blake

Mr. Charles L. Blake was born on January 7, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Leroy Blake and Anna Henry, he was their third son. Charles family moved to Jacksonville, Florida where he graduated from Stanton Senior High. Sometime later Charles moved to Valdosta, Georgia where he resided.

Charles departed this life on Tuesday, May 17, 2016.

Charles was a member of the Local Painter Union, Avid Mechanic, Electronics, Alarms and Trucking. Charles loved fishing and was very skilled in it and had a love for music. He was never married and have no children.

Charles will be missed by his sister, Royann Blake (Robbie) of Yulee, Florida; older brother, Benny Blake of Valdosta, Georgia, two younger brothers, David Blake (Pat) of Jacksonville, Florida, and Dennis Blake (Gladys) of Jacksonville, Florida; very close friends, Mr. Amos and Ms. Betty of Valdosta, Georgia, Sandra Burney of Jacksonville, Florida, and Sherlan Brown of Valdosta, Georgia; many nephews, nieces, cousins, special nephews, Robert Blake of Jacksonville, Florida and Shawn Blake of Orange Park, Florida. Special thank you to Quality Health, 1625 Lime Street, Fernandina Beach, Florida and Community Hospice of Fernandina Beach, Florida, his beloved pet “Jumbo” of many years, who also moved on in 2011.
