Obituary for Darius Duron-Henry "Chuck" Williams
Darius Duron Henry Williams was born on April 5, 1998 in Shand’s Hospital to Teresa Williams and Mickey Hill. He was a loving and outgoing son, brother and friend with an infectious smile that brightened the day of anyone who encountered him.
Darius had a passion for ministry and had an aspiration to become a minister. Darius dedicated his life to God at the tender age of seven, and was baptized at the age of eight. He dutifully served as a youth leader, videographer, usher and helper at Life Point Church under the guidance and direction of Pastor Lena Thompson.
Darius was an honor student at The Potter’s House Christian Academy where he was a proud senior and member of the graduating class of 2016. He was an avid lover of sports and a member of both the football and basketball teams. He was known amongst his peers for his playful joking nature and sincere friendship.
Darius was preceded in death by his uncle, Tyrone Williams.
Darius leaves to cherish his memory: his loving mother, Teresa Williams; father, Mickey (Tomeka) Hill; stepfather, Ike Damon; 6 brothers, Tyrick Williams, Micardo Wallace, Shaquille Williams, Mickey Hill Jr., Malik Hill, and Cameron Wallace; godfather, James Dorsey; 3 aunts, Barbara P. Player, Sandra Norman, and Mercedes Holcomb; 3 uncles, Raymond Williams, Edward Hodges, and Rickey Hill; 4 great uncles, Lawrence Williams, James Kinsey, Bobby Kinsey, and Lewis Kinsey; 2 grandmothers, Ceola Williams, and Barbara H. Player; 2 grandfathers, Early Kinsey, and Thomas Player; devoted cousins, Felicia Williams, Brittnee Henry, Brandon Williams, Eric Fuller, and Takia Williams; god-brother, Kaleb Dorsey; god-sister, Aisha Dorsey and a host of cousins and many sorrowful friends.
The funeral service for Darius Duron-Henry Williams Chuck will be held 11:00 am Saturday, October 31st, 2015 at The Restoration @ Life Changing Ministries 7541 Lem Turner Road. The visitation will be 5-7PM , Friday, at the morning. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery. Please sign the family guest book and view the video tribute @ www.tswarden.com.
