Darryl Irvin McKeiver was born on March 11, 1962 to the late Mr. Randolph McKeiver, Sr. and Gloria Ann Lundy. Darryl was a proud graduate of William Marion Raines High School, Class of 1980, Jacksonville, Florida and briefly attended Bethune Cookman College and worked in the transportation Industry. Darryl was as an avid swimmer and a brilliant swimming instructor and life guard. He successfully taught many family members and neighborhood youths how to swim. Also, he was a true lover of sports; and loving father to his children. Darryl is survived by his wife Mrs. Roberta Lee McKeiver; Son Darryl Irvin McKeiver, Jr.; daughters Rashawna and Darryell; stepson Corri Moore; Preceded in death by brothers, Randolph McKeiver, Jr. and Gregory Gilchrist; survived by brother Vincent McKeiver (Evelyn), Preceded in death by sisters Lasandra Harris and Gwendolyn Upson, survived by sisters Julie Lundy and Patricia Collins; five grandchildren; six step grand-children, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Darryl is also survived by best friends Mr. James King and Tyrone Johnson.
