Obituary for DEBRA A DAISE
Time to Be Born:
Ms. Debra A. Daise (AKA) “DD - Deedee” was born on May 13, 1951, in Jacksonville, Florida to Mr. Leon and Mrs. Queenie Daise.
A Time to Live:
Debra was educated in Oakland Elementary School, R. L. Brown Elementary School, and Debra was a proud member of the Matthew W. Gilbert Jr. Senior High School, Class of 1968. Debra was formerly employed at Vistakon and by the Duval County School System serving at Norwood Elementary School, Paxon Middle School, and Stanton College Preparatory School where she retired.
A Time to Go Home:
Debra was called home Friday, September 30,2016. She was preceded in death by her father, Leon Daise Sr.; brother, Gregory Daise; aunts, Chonita Connor and Joyce Dobson.
A Time to be Cherished:
Debra is survived by her son, Kerry T. Jones (LaSandra); mother, Queenie Daise; brothers, Bruce Daise, Leon Daise (Ft. Walton Beach, FL), and Mark Daise; sisters, Beverly Daise and Karen Trotter; uncle, James Funches; grandson, Kerry T. Jones II; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
The memorial service for Debra A. Daise will be held 5:00 pm SATURDAY, at the Samuel C. Rogers Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N. Main St. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the MLK Memorial Foundation of Jacksonville, 101 E.
