Dorothy LaVerne Myers, a well known resident Jacksonville passed away Saturday, December 28, 2012. The homegoing celebration service will be held Friday, January 4, 2013, 11AM at the Mt. Herman Missionary Baptist Church, Pastor A.L. Jordan, with Bishop Reggie Lester, officiating. The visitation will be one hour before the service. Interment in Restlawn Memorial Park. " Ms. Dee" as she was affectionately known was preceded in death by her son Larry Al Williams. She leaves to cherish her memories a daughter, Prophetess Faye LaRose Aaron-Mayberry; a son, Hubert ""Nathan"" Myers; brothers, Clifford "Booney", Frank (Pat), Jesse, Alphonso and Ronald Stansell; sisters, Linda Johnson and Rhonda Harris; grandchildren, Shone Blackshear, John Jefferson, Jr, Prophetess LaRoslyn Aaron, Terry Williams, Larry Kenneth Williams, Roslind and Annie Williams, ShaWanda Wheeler, Tamesha Davis and many other relatives and friends.
