Douglas Keith Riggins was born on January 17, 1953 to Leila Riggins and Josh Baker, Jr. in Jacksonville, Florida. Douglas attended the local Public Schools in Duval County and worked for 35 years at the Auchter Company.
Douglas joined the Greater New Mt. Zion Holiness Church, under the leadership of Reverend Richard Dixon.
Douglas departed this life on Saturday, August 29, 2015 and was preceded in death by his parents, Leila Riggins and Josh Baker, Jr.; son, Douglas Riggins, Jr.; sisters, Deborah Waters, Delores Baker-Vickers, and Beverly Sweet; brothers, Andrew Thompson and Johnnie Owens.
Douglas leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife Debra Riggins; children, Micah (Aharia) Riggins, Clifford Johnson and Damon Robinson; stepchildren, Antonio (Taneka)Cummings, Keisha (Greg) Hall, and Dee Moe (Ya); siblings, Herman Riggins, Joseph Riggins, Johnette McIntosh, John (Beverly) McIntosh, Beverly (Vince) Filer, Ron (Jean) Baker, Georgette (Albert) Hanna, Josh (Angela) Baker, and Kevin Baker; grandchildren, Dajiah Morman, My'Keria Riggins, Micah Riggins, II, Tatiana, TJ, Tyneisha, Jazz, Antonio, Aniya, Andie Jr., and DJ; aunts, Evelyn (Holly) McCloud and Emma Keller; mother-in-law, Syteria Williams; sister-in-laws, Pat (James), Brenda (George), Linda, Jaqueline, and Miltony; brother-in-laws, Milton Jr. (Kim), Bobby, and Bernard (Brenda), best friends, Walter B, and Bruce Jackson (Carpet man), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
