Dwane Ricardo Bradley affectionately known as “Chico” was born on November 23, 1956 to Loraine Bradley and the late Richard Bradley. Chico was the first born child to this union and his birth was especially adored as the couple had been hoping for a child, for several years.
Chico attended the Duval County Schools, graduating from Andrew Jackson High School. He began work at an early age at Celotex formerly known as Kaiser Gypsum Company for 35 years, until the company closed. Chico later worked for Phoenix Cable and Rigging until his health failed in 2015. Chico was a race car fan, enthusiast owning a cherished 1989 Chevy Camaro muscle car, and several other vehicles. Chico and his brothers spent their vacations going to various auto racing events which included the Gator Nationals.
Chico leaves to cherish memories his mother, Loraine Bradley Donaldson; wife, Milagros Ortiz; daughter, Reneca Moye; stepdaughter, Harmony Cruz; grandchildren, Chelsea (Kyle) Gresham, Alexis, Aaliyah, and Albert Taylor; three brothers, Charlton “Chuck” Bradley, Jonathan “Jay” Bradley, and James “Jimmy” Exson, III (Luvenia), two sisters, Loraine “Cookie” Baggs (Eddie) and Dionne “Deedee” Shamell; godmother, Annie Marie Bright, and a host of sorrowing family members and friends.
The funeral service for Dwane "Chico" Bradley will be held 1:30 pm Saturday at the Samuel C. Rogers Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N. Main Street Jacksonville, FL 32206. Interment in New Berlin Cemetery.
