Obituary for Emerson Perry Jr.

Emerson Perry Jr. the son of Emerson Perry Sr.(deceased) and Gloria Crews, he was born on April 23, 1962 in Jacksonville, Florida. Emerson was a graduate of William M. Raines High School. He later completed his Bachelor of Arts.

Emerson is a retired sailor of the United States Navy, with 20 years of service. He was employed by UF Health Jacksonville as an Application Analyst for 29 years.

Emerson was united in holy matrimony to his high school sweetheart Kimberly Ann Littles on March 20, 1982. He was an avid reader and writer who penned the unforgettable debut novel of deep emotion, A WAVES Desire. He was a member of the RWA (Romance Writers of America) organization earning his PRO pin by completing a novel of over 60,000 words. He was also a member of First Coast Romance Writers. As a fitness enthusiast he enjoyed cycling and running in his spare time.

Emerson touched the lives of many with his genuine smile and trademark sense of humor. His life will forever be cherished in the lives of his loving and devoted wife of 35 years, Kimberly Ann Perry; three precious jewels, LaKesha Rogers, Kimyata, and Kayla Perry. Emerson will forever be remembered by his mother, Gloria Crews, siblings, Kenneth Jones (Deborah), Marion Denson (Joseph), Chrysandra Reynolds, and Reginald Perry (Jeanette); a loving father and mother-in-law Alfred Jackson(Cynthia); two brother-in-law’s, Keith Littles, Louis Littles, one sister-in-law Karen Hammonds (Chris), and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
