A Moment With Fran

A Moment With Fran and you would know you had a good friend for life. I met her at a mutual friends cookout in 1976. She was from the Bronx and I from Brooklyn. So of course we knew we would stay together in this "well kept secret" she called Jacksonville. She saw it as a blank canvas to spread her incredible imagination to make things happen. She never missed a cookout or cook over or the Jazz Festivals, Jaquar games, Colors of the World, Opening of the Beach, Seafood Festivals, Beaches Parade, Halloween Parties, Cruises, Train Travel, Bus Travel, Visiting out of State friends and Family, Piano Concerts, Alhambra Theatre, Circus, birthday parties, retirement parties, just to name a few. And between all that she found time to service and visit sick friends and family. She had a full life from White Water Rafting to travelling to Africa and Europe. When I look back most of my life (40 years) was spent with Fran. Fran you certainly did "paint the town". With unblimished friendship I will miss you. Never a dull moment. I Love you and I learned a little from you about living life to its fullest. Faye Longmire, Jacksonville FL
